Slovene and Austrian Governments' Response to Escalation in Carinthia Too Weak, Says SSK Representative
Ljubljana, 23 January - The Slovene World Congress (SSK), an organisation aiming to consolidate Slovenes around the world, would like to draw the attention of the international community to the volition of Austrian legislation by Carinthian Governor General Joerg Haider, who does not respect a Constitutional Court ruling on bilingual street signs. Nevertheless, the SSK maintains it is too early to attempt to solve this issue at the international level, President of the SSK Carinthian Conference Lojze Dolinar told a press conference on Wednesday in Ljubljana.
