Kucan and Drnovsek Host Reception for Foreign Diplomats

Brdo pri Kranju, 23 January - President Milan Kucan and Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek hosted a traditional annual reception for foreign diplomats on Wednesday, stressing in their addresses Slovenia's desire to become a member of both the EU and NATO. Doyen of the diplomatic corps, Apostolic Nuncio Marian Oles, stressed that last year Slovenia consolidated its position in the international community, which was further enhanced by the recently signed agreement with the Holy See.
