Head of Criminal Cartel Smuggling Immigrants Faces New Charges
Ljubljana, 23 January - The group of state prosecutors for special affairs lodged a new demand on 14 January for an investigation against Josip Loncaric, the alleged head of a criminal cartel involved in smuggling illegal immigrants through Slovenia to Italy, for seven counts of illegal border crossing, the Ljubljana District Court said on Wednesday.
