Delo on the Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan's Reconstruction

Ljubljana, 24 January - It is undoubtedly true that Afghanistan is in the centre of the world's attention and generosity these days. This is proven by billions of dollars promised at the Tokyo conference to its interim government. However, there is nothing more difficult than becoming the centre of the world and not being one's own master. One can belive the interim Prime Minister Hamid Karzai to be honest when saying: "I wish I was in your place to be giving and not taking," the Slovene daily Delo writes on Thursday.
