Greater BSE Risk Assessment for Slovenia Not Surprising, Says Veterinary Administration Chief

Ljubljana, 24 January - The Slovene Veterinary Administration (VURS) was not surprised that Slovenia was moved into a group of European countries where BSE risk is possible although not confirmed, or confirmed at a very low level. It is completely logical that Slovenia cannot remain in the second group of countries where BSE is unlikely, as the disease has been detected in the country, STA was told on Thursday by VURS director Zoran Kovac.
