Gov't Adopts Six-Year Natural Disaster Protection Programme
Ljubljana, 24 January - The draft national programme for protection from natural and other disasters was adopted by the Slovene government on Thursday and sent for second reading in the Parliament. The programme aims to improve the prediction of potential dangers, as well as the general state of alert for all kinds of accidents, in addition to shortening the response time of rescue services and improving preparedness against sources of danger such as terrorism.
