U.S. General Meigs Holds Talks with Top Slovene Officials

Ljubljana, 24 January - On the first day of his two-day visit to Slovenia, U.S. General Montgomery Meigs, Commanding General of the U.S. Army in Europe, met with Slovene Defence Minister Anton Grizold, Chief of Staff of the Slovene Armed Forces Ladislav Lipic and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel for talks that focused on reforms of Slovenia's defence system and bilateral co-operation in defence.
