European Commission's JRC Advocates Close Co-operation with EU Candidates

Ljubljana, 24 January - "The advantages of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) are based on offering political leaders support in many fields that are of interest for EU citizens. These include food, health and environment protection, nuclear safety and science," JRC Director General Barry Mc Sweeney said on Thursday while presenting the centre to Slovene researchers.
