Leading EU Candidates Agree on Working Group to Oversee Drafting of Accession Treaty

Karlovy Vary, 25 January - Chief negotiators from the leading six EU applicant countries, meeting in the Czech Republic's Karlovy Vary on Friday, agreed to establish a working group that will oversee the drafting of the Accession Treaty - the document that the countries will sign once they have concluded accession negotiations and are ready for membership in the EU.
