There Will Be No "Our" and "Foreign" Banks in the Long Run, Head of NLB Tells Vecer
Maribor, 26 January - It is not all the same who manages banks, a delicate link of the economy, and who owns that link, Marko Voljc, chairman of the board of the Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB), said in an interview published in the Slovene daily Vecer on Saturday. A small country with a small monetary space should not be completely indifferent about the ownership structure of its banking system, as several hundred million euros can represent a high percentage of primary funds, he said.
