Jamnikar Appointed New LDS Secretary General, Drnovsek Re-Elected President

Ljubljana, 27 January - In what is a vote of no-confidence for the acting secretary general Bogdan Biscak, the LDS delegates elected Peter Jamnikar the new secretary general. LDS President Janez Drnovsek was re-elected to the post with overwhelming support - he mustered 471 out of a total of 485 votes. Moreover, the delegates of the 4th LDS congress decided that Tone Rop (352 votes) and Tone Anderlic (305 votes) are to hold the vice-presidential posts.
