Gaber and Peterle Appointed Slovene Parliament's Representatives in European Convention

Ljubljana, 30 January - MP Slavko Gaber of the coalition LDS and MP Lojze Peterle of the opposition NSi were appointed Wednesday by parliament the two MPs to represent Slovenia in the European Convention, which is to draft the guidelines for the next intergovernmental conference on further institutional reform of the EU. The replacements of Gaber and Peterle, who were backed in a 65:1 vote, will be Danica Simsic (ZLSD) and Miha Brejc (SDS).
