European Handball Championships: Slovenia Defeated by France, to Play for 11th Place

Västeras, 31 January - The Slovene men's handball team lost their final second stage match of the European Championships, played on Thursday in Vaestaras, against France 21:36 (10:19). Slovenia thus finished last in Group B and is to play for 11th place against the Ukraine, the last placed team from Group A. That match will take place on Saturday in Stockholm.
