All Cattle Older than 24 Months to Be Tested for BSE Presence as of Friday

Ljubljana, 1 February - A Slovene government decree came into force on Friday which stipulates that all slaughtered cattle older than 24 months must be tested for BSE presence. The previous limit stood at 30 months but was lowered after a second BSE case was confirmed in earlier in January.
