Medical Doctor Receives Eight Months Suspended Sentence for Malpractice

Kranj, 1 February - The Kranj District Court convicted 43-year-old doctor Darja Erzen to a suspended sentence of eight months on Friday after she allegedly caused the death of one of her patients. The sentence has not come into force yet, while both the defence and the prosecutors announced they would lodge appeals against the decision.
