U.S. Bans Imports of Meat from Slovenia for Fear of BSE

Washington, 2 February - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Friday that it had placed Slovenia on the list of countries where BSE presence has been confirmed, thus banning the imports of meat, meat products and some other products from Slovenia, according to the Croatian news agency Hina.
