Wave of Layoffs Continues as Iskra Kondenzatorji Expects to Shed 150 Workers

Semič, 2 February - After the company Iskra Kondenzatorji, a maker of capacitors, failed to achieve the desired results in 2001, Germany's AEG KuW Holding, which became the majority owner of Iskra last year, announced on Saturday it would lay off some 150 workers out of a total workforce of 1,100.
