Ljubljana, 3 February - Slovenia assessed EU's strategy for pre-accession negotiations in agriculture as unacceptable. The end of the week saw a rise in prices of basic phone services, while a strike of workers in the metal industry was staged on Wednesday. The opposition interpellation motion against Environment Minister Janez Kopac failed and the Ljubljana Administrative Court dismissed a law suit against the Health Ministry filed by a U.S. pharmaceutical company Pfizer for the registration of generic drugs produced by Slovene companies Lek and Krka. Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek attended the World Economic Forum in New York.
