PM Drnovsek Discusses NATO Enlargement with Bill and Hilary Clinton
New York, 4 February - Before leaving New York, where he attended the World Economic Forum, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek on Sunday met former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his spouse, New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. On the occassion Drnovsek expressed Slovenia's expectation that NATO enlargement would take place and that the country would be invited to join. Drnovsek also met Jeffrey Sachs, a renown economist, who was pleased with Slovenia's economic development and high national income.
