Gov't Should Take Part in Negotiations on Agriculture Chapter, Agriculture Minister Insists
Ljubljana, 4 February - The European Commission's umbrella strategy for negotiations with EU candidates on the chapter of agriculture is for most part unacceptable for Slovenia, notably as regards quotas, Slovene Agriculture Minister Franci But reiterated at a news conference on Monday. He also insisted that, given the importance of the agriculture chapter, the entire Slovene government should take a stance upon it and take part in the accession negotiations.
