First Women's Unit Starts Training in the Slovene Army

Ljubljana, 4 February - The first 16-strong women's specialised unit started its training in the Slovene Armed Forces on Monday. The women, who stand as candidates for a regular post in the army, are to join thier male counterparts after a four-week preparation programme, the Defence Ministry has said.
