Telekom Slovenia Posts Sharp Profit Increase in 2001

Ljubljana, 5 February - Slovenia's telecommunications group Telekom posted net profits of SIT 3.3 billion (EUR 14.8 million) in 2001, which is a sharp rise of 52 percent compared to the previous year, Leonardo F. Peklar, president of the company's supervisory board, told STA after the board's session on Tuesday, revealing the company's first estimates.
