Mass Layoffs Prompt Trade Unions to Call for Immediate Measures

Ljubljana, 6 February - Responding to the latest wave of layoffs in the Slovene industry, a leading Slovene association of trade unions called upon the government and employers to immediately draft, together with workers and trade unions, a package of economic stimulus which would aim to preserve jobs.
