Minority Organisation Opposes Referendum on Bilingual Place Signs in Carinthia
Klagenfurt, 6 February - The National Council of Carinthian Slovenes (NSKS), an umbrella organisation of Slovenes living in Austria's province of Carinthia, has submitted to Austrian Interior Minister Ernst Strasser a proposal to prohibit the launch of a procedure for holding a referendum against the setting up of additional bilingual place signs in Carinthia.
