Speaker of Parliament Responds to Protest Note on War Graves Bill

Ljubljana, 7 February - Numerous proposed amendments to the bill on war graves point to different political opinions, said Slovene Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor in a response to a protest note by MP Janez Podobnik, the head of the Slovene People's Party (SLS) deputy faction. The majority is aware that these differences should be surpassed, so informal political consultations could be in order and a meeting of the Parliament's leadership and deputy faction leaders at the beginning of March, said Pahor.
