Gov't Adopts Amendments to Defence Act, Some Provisions Excluded due to Coalition Discord

Ljubljana, 7 February - The Slovene government on Thursday adopted amendments to the Defence Act, the final document required for the development of the Slovene Armed Forces and the defence system. The Defence Ministry expects that the document, which is crucial for Slovenia's accession to NATO, will be adopted by the Parliament in the first half of the year.
