Union Olimpija Thumps Skyliners in Crucial Euroleague Game

Frankfurt, 7 February - Slovene national basketball champions Union Olimpija from Ljubljana thrashed Frankfurt's Opel Skyliners 79:56 (21:8, 36:26, 58:36) in Thursday's crucial Euroleague game played in the German city. Olimpija thus notched its eighth win from 13 rounds and greatly improved its chances of qualifying for the Euroleage playoffs.
