SanPaolo IMI Raises Takeover Bid for Banka Koper for the Fourth Time

Koper, 11 February - The Turin-based banking group SanPaolo IMI raised its takeover bid for Banka Koper, Slovenia's fourth largest bank, for as many as the fourth time on Monday, once again by ten tolars per share. The new takeover price is SIT 102,011.72 (EUR 457,91) a share, and, in accordance with the act on takeovers, the bid was prolonged by seven days to 25 February.
