Vecer: Pastoral Notes

Maribor, 11 February - A traditional message ahead of Lent, delivered by Slovene bishops last Sunday, brings no major novelties. If the Pope in Rome is currently raising a storm among the Italian public with his appeals for the status of human embryo to be made legal, this does not seem to be, at least not officially, a priority of the Slovene Church, the Maribor-based daily Vecer comments in its Monday's edition.
