Slovene Speleologists Go 1,440 Metres Underground for New Slovene Depth Record
Bovec, 11 February - Slovene speleologists made a spectacular breakthrough in the deepest cave in Slovenia during the weekend, as they managed to come to a depth of 1,440 metres where they were stopped by an icy lake. This discovery makes the cave "Cehi 2" the ninth deepest cave in the world, the Association of Slovene Speleologists said Monday.
