Slovene Export Corporation in the Black in 2001 Despite Onset of Global Recession

Ljubljana, 12 February - The Slovene Export Corporation (SID) recorded growth in its operations last year, with the total value of insured goods up 38 percent to 1,643 million euros or some 13 percent of all Slovene exports, chairman of SID Marjan Kramar presented unaudited results on Tuesday. Kramar added that the corporation managed to stay in the black last year, despite the onset of the global recession.
