Snowboarder Dejan Kosir Biggest Hope for Slovene Olympic Medal

Salt Lake City, 13 February - Snowboarding has only become part of the Olympic family at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, when the best snowboarders competed in the half-pipe and giant slalom events. The International Olympic Committee has decided to give it a try with the parallel giant slalom in Salt Lake city, which is also a greater crowd pleaser. This decision is a great opportunity for the best Slovene snowboarder Dejan Kosir to fulfil his and Slovenia's Olympic dreams in an event that he has won four times this year on the World Cup circuit.
