Euro is Sure to Spur Political Integration of the EU, Conference Participants Agree

Ljubljana, 13 February - The launch of the joint European currency in twelve of the EU states that are members of the European Monetary Union (EMU) represents an important chapter on the path to political integration of the EU, participants of Wednesday's conference on the euro in Ljubljana agreed.
