Earthquake Hitting Italy Felt in Slovenia

Trieste/Ljubljana, 14 February - An earthquake which hit the northeastern part of Italy sometime after 4 AM CET last night was also felt in some parts of Slovenia. The earthquake measured 4.9 on the Richter scale in its epicenter, namely the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Radio Slovenia quoted the Strasbourg-based seismological office as saying on Thursday morning. There has been no report about any damage, but the quake was also felt in western and central Slovenia, including the capital of Ljubljana.
