Three Opposition Parties Propose Abolition of Mandatory Military Service

Ljubljana, 14 February - A group of 22 lawmakers of the opposition Social Democrats (SDS), New Slovenia (NSi) and the Youth Party (SMS) on Thursday submitted to parliament procedure amendments to the act on military service that would in effect eliminate mandatory military service.
