Ljubljana, 14 February - Slovene basketball champions Union Olimpija took the scalp of Barcelona 80:74 (23:31, 44:50, 63:62) in Thursday's crucial Euroleague home game. Olimpija's win guarantees it a place in the playoffs of Europe's strongest basketball league. Olimpija, competing in Group B, finished the preliminary competition with nine wins and five losses and thus took fourth place in the group.
