Parliamentary Agriculture Committee Critical of EU Financial Strategy
Ljubljana, 14 February - The key issue in negotiations with the EU on the financial aspect of agriculture is the question how to maintain the present financial status of farmers and draft a budget that will cushion the fall in prices of agricultural products when Slovenia becomes an EU member. This was said Thursday by Slovene negotiator with the EU Emil Erjavec at a session of the parliamentary agriculture committee which examined the European Commission's umbrella strategy for the final part of negotiations with EU candidates.
