Slovenia's Majdic Third After First Leg of Sprint Cross-Country Pursuit

Salt Lake City, 15 February - Slovenia's Petra Majdic is third after the first leg of the women's 5 km cross-country pursuit held on the sixth day of competition at the Salt Lake City games. Majdic completed the 5 km classical leg in a time of 13:06.1 and is only 7.4 seconds behind the leader at this point, Olga Danilova of Russia.
