Metal Workers' Strike Is Off after Deal Was Reached by Trade Unions and Employers

Ljubljana, 15 February - Four days prior to the planned strike of metal and electronics workers, the trade unions and employers reached an agreement on a wage increase, thus eliminating the main reason for the strike which was to be staged on 19 February by all four trade unions representing some 100,000 workers of the metal and electronics industries.
