Romany Community in Slovenia Wants to Get an Opportunity for Better Life
Ljubljana, 15 February - Romany communities in some parts of Slovenia still lack basic necessities for life such as plumbing or electricity, and find it very difficult to find jobs. This was highlighted by Jozek Horvat, president of the Slovene Romany Association, which organised on Friday a conference entitled "Europe, Slovenia and Romany People" together with the Institute for Ethnic Studies and the Slovene branch of Austria's Institute for Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
