Slovenia's Majdic Finishes Ninth in Cross-Country Pursuit

Salt Lake City, 15 February - Slovenia's Petra Majdic, who was third following the classic leg of the women's 5 km cross-country sprint event, 7.4 seconds behind, finished ninth after the pursuit leg. Majdic finished 24.42 seconds behind the gold medal winner Olga Danilova of Russia, who retained her lead from the classical leg.
