Slovene Steelworks Suffered from Global Downturn in 2001
Ljubljana, 15 February - Following a downturn in the world's steel industry, results of the Slovene Steelworks enterprise were marginally worse in 2001 than a year before, with the rise in prices of electricity and natural gas making things even worse, said Tibor Simonka, a member of the Steelworks supervisory board, which reviewed the company's business results at a session on Friday.
