Croatia Examines Alleged Violation of Energy Charter, Slovenia Not to Launch Procedure Yet

Ljubljana/Brussels, 19 February - After the Energy Charter Secretariat informed Croatia that it violated the Energy Charter by imposing a ban on the road transport of oil through its territory, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula said on Tuesday that Croatia will examine the alleged violations before taking a stand on the issue. The Slovene Environment Ministry meanwhile revealed that it does not intend to launch an official procedure at the Secretariat as yet.
