Police Director General Heard by Commission Investigating Petek Case
Ljubljana, 21 February - Director General of the Slovene Police Marko Pogorevc was heard Thursday by the parliamentary commission investigating the background of a brutal attack on a journalist, but refused to tell the press what exactly the commission, which was in session behind tightly closed doors, was interested to know. Nevertheless, Pogorevc repeated what he said a few months after the attack which took place a year ago, namely that "the police are breathing the perpetrators down their necks".
