Slovene Food-Processing Industry to See Major Changes Upon EU Accession
Ljubljana, 21 February - The Slovene food-processing industry will continue to see great changes before Slovenia's EU accession, one of the most important ones being the concentration of companies, especially in the milk and meat processing industries. The concentration of companies will be additionally prompted by substantially worse business results from 2000 and, expectedly, 2001, said Agriculture Minister Franci But on the fourth day of Slovenia's Business Week under Thursday's title New European Business Environment in the Food and Beverages Sector.
