Slovene Farmers to Vote No for EU if Issue of Quotas Are not Settled, Says Trade Union
Novo Mesto, 21 February - Slovene farmers would find acceptable only those quotas that would be based on the production one year prior to Slovenia's EU accession, the president of the Slovene farmers trade union, Marjan Gorenc, told a press conference on Thursday. The trade union will not support Slovenia's EU accession at a referendum if the advantages and disadvantages are not clear before that, he added.
