Finance: Telecommunications Market in Simic's Hands
Ljubljana, 22 February - Thursday saw a long-awaited step towards opening up the Slovene telecommunications market. National operator Telekom Slovenije announced lower prices of cable-renting and inter-network connections, which are essential for other fixed telephony operators to access the Slovene market, writes Slovene business daily Finance on Friday. If Slovenia wants to open up the market soon, it needs an alternative fixed telephony operator, according to the paper.
