Champions League: Slovene and European Handball Champions Fail to Make Quarters

Ljubljana, 24 February - Reigning Slovene and European women's handball champions Krim Eta Neutro Roberts lost to Poland's Montex 24:27 (10:12) in the Champions League match played on Sunday in Ljubljana. The upset means that the Slovene team has failed to make the quarter-finals of the league and will thus be unable to defend the title of the best European women's handball club.
