Brewer Lasko Posts 2001 Profits of EUR 6.18 Million

Laško, 26 February - Slovenia's leading brewer Pivovarna Lasko posted net profits of SIT 1.38 billion (EUR 6,18 million) in 2001, which is a slump of 13 percent compared to the previous year, according to the unaudited and unconsolidated results. The brewer's gross revenues jumped by 20 percent year-on-year to total SIT 20.4 billion (EUR 91.3 billion), the company said on Tuesday.
