Slovenia Sees a Low Poverty Rate Compared to EU Countries
Ljubljana, 26 February - Slovenia rates among the countries with a low level of poverty, as there are 265,000 poor people living in the country, which is 13.8 percent of the population. This is evident from the first comprehensive report on the implementation of the programme fighting poverty and social exclusion, presented by the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs on Tuesday.
